Technical Description

The COMI CONDOR HT/GMP 300/110 invertible bag centrifuge is designed for solid/liquid separation in industrial applications requiring high hygienic and production standards, particularly suitable for the chemical, pharmaceutical, fine chemical, and cosmetic industries.

The “HT/GMP” configuration identifies a version manufactured according to high-containment and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards, with special attention to cleanability, operational safety, and reduction of product contamination.

The machine is equipped with a vertical filtering basket and a discharge system based on an invertible filter bag, allowing controlled and automated discharge of the filter cake while reducing manual operator intervention and improving operational safety during unloading procedures.

Operating Principle

The product is loaded into the rotating basket lined with the filter bag. During high-speed rotation, centrifugal force separates the liquid phase from the solid phase:

• the filtrate passes through the filter cloth and is collected through the dedicated outlet;
• the solid deposits on the internal surface forming the filter cake.

At the end of the cycle, the invertible system reverses the filter bag, allowing rapid and efficient detachment and discharge of the solid product.
